Sunday School

{Click here to download the registration form 2022-23}

United Muslim Weekend School offers Islamic education every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for students ages 5 to 14 years.

The administration fully realizes the importance of Islamic education in a non-Muslim environment, especially for children going to public schools, and takes this responsibility very seriously.

Alhamdulillah, We are using a strong curriculum and teaching the children to learn the Arabic language from the very beginning. After 3 years with the new Arabic curriculum, the children in the school are able to read proficiently and understand a lot of the vocabulary. Alhamdulillah, we have achieved this by holding classes once a week and the rest of the work is done through assignments to be completed throughout the week. Baraka Allah (May Allah bless and protect our students and every seeker of knowledge).

Our Arabic classes are open to our Non-Muslim community members and we have some attendance with good results in language acquisition, praise to Allah.

Quran and Prayer Beads

Qur'an Recitation

We provide Quran recitation classes to children of all levels, from beginner to intermediate to advanced. Children are taught proper tajweed and proper etiquette for recitation, as well as build a greater appreciation for the Quran.

Qur'an Memorization

We provide Quran memorization classes to children of all levels, including a Hifz course. Quran memorization requires dedication and practice, which is why it is important for parents to be involved in their child's learning throughout the week.
